I used the sewing machine fabric to make a little rounded zipper pouch for my sewing machine feet. I think that is appropriate, don't you?
I lined it with stripes and used orange topstitching! My growing collection of feet will be nice and cozy in there.
I couldn't bear to cut into the typewriter fabric, it's just too cute! I put it on my wall. It's art.

Such fun fabrics! She also has some cool vintage camera fabric that I have my eyes on!

What fabulous fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love the little pouch and I would have put the typewriters on the wall too!
LOVE love the fabric! My son's name is Aubrey so I might just have to buy something from her : ) Love your little pouch! : )
ReplyDeleteVery apt choice for the little sowing machines one.
ReplyDeleteI might have to snaffle your idea and make a pouch for my feet too as I am having a little bit of an issue keeping track of them too...
Love it Kate! Thank you do much for playing with my fabric!!! The pouch is adorable for your feet.
ReplyDeleteThe typewriter fabric would make a great kindle cover although I have a few fabrics I haven't been able to cut into yet myself.
ReplyDeletecute!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to sewing. I have one of those long white thingys you show in the first picture with the feet. What is it? What does it do? Why do I have one? Can you help please.
ReplyDeleteThe long white one is a buttonhole attachment. It has a spot to put your button so the machine knows how long to make the stitch. There would be instructions in your sewing machine manual on how to use it. If you don't have the manual you can probably look it up online! Great little tool!
